Cutting Edge Landscaping is a privately owned design, construction and maintainance company headquartered in West Chester, PA. Service areas include Southeastern PA and the South Jersey shore.
Owner Paul Day started the business in 1988. He is a dedicated and gifted landscape craftsman who is involved in all aspects of his customer's landscaping projects.
Paul's background illustrates his love for gardening and his chosen career path. His grandfather, Duncan Kerr owned commercial greenhouses and taught Paul valuable trade skills at an early age. His first job was at Wedgewood Gardens at age 16 in Glen Mills. Here, Paul trained under Joe Hoplamazian, the founder and master gardener of Wedgewood. Paul continued his education at Longwood Gardens, and holds several horticulture certificates. He has also completed all available hardscaping certificate courses through EP Henry and ICPI.
Paul’s unique creative talent allows him to approach landscape projects with a vision that provides a strong sense of style and design that will meet the clients budget. He has gained considerable experience in these areas over the last 22 years and offers creative yet practical ideas that will add value and beauty to your home or commercial property.
He is an authorized EP Henry Installer and is certified by the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI). Paul has designed and installed a wide variety of aesthetic and practical improvements including landscape lighting, walkways, driveways, natural stone walls, patios, fire pits, and all types of landscape plantings and maintenance. |
